Good to see the band back in the West Midlands, and in a slightly more salubrious venue than the Rock Cafe!
Having made the short trip over from Brum it was pleasing to see a good crowd with the usual impressive representation across the demographic ranges.
Nigel opened up the banter by posing a pub quiz question of: A palindrome in which the first syllable sounds different to the last. The answer being given after the next track: Civic
The set list was thoroughly enjoyable, having a bit of everything thrown in. Half way through proceedings I found myself in the mosh pit. From here I could fully appreciate the banter between Nigel and the crowd, and relive my youth!
The new tracks sounded good, and I'm looking forward to the new release.
