Sheffield Boardwalk, Thu 7th April (08/04/05)

'Lucky Green Underpants':

A quick dash up the M1 and for the first time ever drove straight to the Boardwalk without getting lost at the big roundabout!

First surprise of the night was that there was no support, so it was straight into the action........the set, almost from memory, was something along the lines of................

Quite possibly the best HMHB gig I've been to, 24 Hour Garage People (Captain) and Vatican Broadside had some amusing changes, Len Ganley appeared, what can I say, 28/29 tracks in my favourite venue. It was just spot on, favourite band, favourite venue, favourite songs, and blimey, they must have made a packet on Newcastle Brown!

P.S. The Gents were knee deep in piss and soggy bog rolls when the doors opened, so I hope they aren't blaming the people who were there last night for that!

Roll on Wolverhampton!!!!!!!!!

P.P.S. When am I going to be able to buy Chatteris, Joy Division and CORGI?????? I want them NOW!
