David Craig:

Great gig,

Support from the Trent Valley Poet (scruffy bloke in a raincoat taking a fancy to Steve Davis the snooker player ... hmmm) and Scott Matthews, young bloke with Bluesy Acoustic set, skilful playing, songs tended to sound he same after a while but worth watching as he develops.

Got a set list which reads as follows:

Fred Titmus
Monmore hares running
Uffington wassail
Bob Wilson anchor man
Tending the wrong grave for 23 years
San Antonio foam party
Lark Descending
Light at the end of the tunnel
Used to be in Evil Gazebo
If I had possession over Pancake Day
24 hour garage people (£1.12 and 95 p) mixed in with a little bit of Hotel Yorba by the White Stripes
PRS Yearbook
Footprints
Jarg Armani
Paintballs coming home (with now extended verses)
Thems the vagaries
The wholly uncertain of his parentage son of Dean Friedman
Segued with there is nothing better in life and my Baby got the Yipps
Tonight Matthew
Turned up clocked on laid off
Bottleneck at Capel Curig
Look Dad no Tunes
Trumpton Riots
Set list says Turn a blind eye but not done - we did get a fuller version of the (I'm the mate of the guy who does the PA) song that first appeared last year
Running Order Squabble Fest
Everything's AOR - Neil forgot the bass line!

Really good set and first class gig, happy crowd, Nigel got a couple of kisses from a bloke intent on being the fifth biscuit, well worth the long drive and hello to big Dave down at the front, roll on Edinburgh.
