Being a regular of the Rock Cafe, I decided to go along and see Half Man Half Biscuit on a friend's recommendation ... whilst I really enjoyed the support band, Lucas - keep your eye on them, they're going places - I wasn't overly impressed with Half Man Half Biscuit ... to be honest I think comedy bands died with The Wordless and the Baron Knights. Indecipherable lyrics, and a slightly hoity toity attitude.
Travel 100 miles to see them. I don't think so. Paid £9 to get in, but would have paid £10 get out. If I wanted to join a strange cult I would have gone to see the Polyphonic Spree.
