Leeds, Thu 4th November (8/11/99)

"Keg" with some initial notes:

Just got back from a visit to Leeds, which I undertook to see the mighty Bics at the Duchess of York. I'll have a bash at posting a review tomorrow, but the key point is that they were on fine form, with a sprinkling of new songs (new to me) and - wonderfully - a cover of Magazine's "Song From Under the Floorboards". Wow! I must say though that the gig was marred rather by a clutch of lardy blokes whose idea of a mosh pit was to treat the rest of the audience like human skittles and crash into them. It's not big, nor clever and definitely not amusing.
